I read that paper by a substacker named Shanaka Anslem Perera. It was very detailed but had no references I could check. It was posted on Nov. 24, 2025. I found a newsletter by a reputable AI critic named Ed Zitron. Perera had posted an essay on Nov. 21, on AI. Also very detailed and sort of apocalyptic. Zitron checked some of the details and found misstatements, calling BS. The guy apparently is from Sri Lanka and runs a pet store. He seems quite prolific, publishing two long essays on two widely different topics within 3 days of each other. I'm calling BS, or maybe I should say ChatGPT. I think it is probably AI generated. Neither essay had any references, so I couldn't check his numbers. His Linked In says CEO Pet Express Sri Lanka.
