"Some pipelines originating in the Permian (oilfield) are getting a reputation for having higher metals content," said oil consultant Brett Hunter, of Energy Hunter LLC. "We expect more robust quality programs, and more frequent testing."

Chevrons Delaware Basin Performance.png

I've checked this several times, its

correct; Chevron can't drill HZ wells

in the Delaware Basin for shit. From 2021 to 2022 it's wells were 24% worse and in 2023 they are even worse.

All of those minerals it owns in its acreage block, all those really high NRI leases it has are too far west and out of the play. Its no wonder its choosing to focus on the DJ Basin in Colorado, where wells in general are actually getting better and better.
