Predicting future oil price is like crossing a minefield blind-folded; the pros avoid it at all costs.
This layman however, feels free to prognosticate, as my career will not be affected. I think this week's close of $72 WTI is a bit high; we will likely see mid $60 for much of 2025, with high $50's a possibility.
We will see less global turmoil under DJT, with a resolution in Ukraine likely. We may even see some positive movement WRT Iran and Houthi aggression. Stripper operators should circle the wagons and ride this out; as many are already planning.
